The Men’s Club Championship Handicap Singles is 25 shots up Knockout Event

Event Details

• Event is open to fully paid male members of Buderim Bowls Club Inc.
• Nominations Open 12th October 2025 & Close 26th October 2025 @ 5:00pm
• Draw will take place 26th October 2025 @ 5:00pm
• Event fees are $17.00 per player per round payable at the bar prior to each round (hand receipt to game organiser)
• Round 1 Scheduled for 1st November 2025 1:00pm
• Play on or before the scheduled date or forfeit the game
• NB: All losing players will be expected to MARK at least one game when called to do so or find a replacement marker yourself.
• If, 30 minutes after the scheduled start time for a game, or sooner if the
  Controlling Body decides, one or more players are absent from a team,
  the defaulting team will forfeit the game to their opponents.
• Any team member unable to play on the day due to sickness or ill health may be substituted.
• The substitute must play in any position other than skip, and the other members of the team can rearrange their positions as necessary.
• The Controlling Body will decide the substitute’s eligibility.
• Handicaps are calculated by the Club Selectors prior Round 1
• Scoring is as follows:
• Scenario 1 – Player 1 has a handicap of minus 10 – Player 2 has a handicap of plus 10
• Player 1 has to score 45 shots (25+10+10) to win whilst Player 2 has to score 25 shots to win
• Scenario 2 – Player 1 has a handicap of minus 6 – Player 2 has a handicap of minus 8
• Player 1 has to score 31 shots (25+6) to win whilst Player 2 has to score 33 shots (25+8) to win
