Melbourne Cup Day

An invitation to all Buderim and visiting bowlers to join us for an exciting day of bowls as we celebrate Melbourne Cup Day. Known as “the race that stops the nation,” the Melbourne Cup is one of Australia’s most iconic events, and we’re bringing the excitement right to the club with a day of competition bowls and great company.
Event Details:
- Date: Tuesday, 4th November 2025
- Time: Play starts at 1:00 PM
- Cost: $17 per person
- Dress Code: Get in the spirit of the day and wear something “Racy” to add a touch of glamour and fun!
What to Expect:
- Mixed Triples: Test your skills over 2 games of 12 ends.
- Sweeps & Race Watching: Place your bets in our Melbourne Cup sweeps and cheer on your favourites as we watch the race together. It’s all about enjoying the thrill of the race, with a little friendly competition on the side.
- Prizes and Fun: Dress to impress and embrace the spirit of the day.
