Women’s Consistency Competition 2025

Consistency is a Singles Competition for Women. This is essentially a Draw Game and extremely good practice for all players.  If you have limited experience on the bowling green, do not let this hold you back from entering.  The object of the game is to draw as close to the jack as possible without moving it and reach 130 points as quickly as possible.

Game Details

Each end, Points are scored as follows:

Closest Shot 4 points, Second Shot – 3 points, Third Shot – 2 points Fourth Shot – 1 point

First player to reach 130 points is the winner.

A marker is required for every game of Consistency. Her duties are listed in the Conditions of Play.

If the Jack is moved more than 1m the penalty is 5 points.

If the Jack is sent out of bounds or into the ditch, or the player kills the end, the penalty is 10 points.

It is an expectation that all players will mark at least one game.
