Barefoot Bowls
Barefoot bowls is a fun way to spend time with friends, family and work colleagues. No experience is needed as club volunteers will be on hand to offer guidance on the basics and make it an enjoyable time for all. So come along, kick off your shoes and have a few laughs! The cost is $10/person and bookings are essential. Players need to be at least 10 years and minors need to be supervised by an adult.

About the Game
- Play is on carpet greens that are divided into lanes (rinks), with a maximum of 8 people per rink.
- Bowls are weighted so that they don’t roll in a straight line, but in a curve. Each bowl has a small or large circle/icon on each side. Always keep the small circle facing the inside of your delivery.
- The aim is to get your bowl as close to the little yellow ball (Jack) as possible.
- The team with a bowl nearest to the Jack wins the end and gets a point for each bowl they have closer than the opposition.
FAQs
- Flat sole shoes, thongs or bare feet.
- No drinks, food or smoking on the green.
- As we are a fully licensed, BYO alcohol is not permitted.
- Bowls are to be delivered from below the knee.
- No sitting on the edge of the green. Please use seats provided.
- At the completion of your allotted time please return bowls to the bowls trolley.
- Enjoy yourselves – don’t let your mate beat you!
